My name is Lori Crosby, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (Lic #89606). I specialize in helping children and adolescents who have experienced physical, verbal, or social bullying. Statistics show that 28% of children experience bullying. Children who are bullied are more likely to suffer from depression and anxiety, academic problems, feelings of loneliness, loss of interest in friends and activities, and suicidal thoughts. The good news is that help is available!

My mission is to bring is to bring healing to children and adults through the power of play. As a Registered Play Therapist, I use a scientifically-validated, play-based approach to help clients to process trauma and express feelings. Play therapy helps bullying victims by reducing anxiety and depression, building self-worth and confidence, and improving social functioning. I also provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help victims become aware of and correct self-defeating thoughts and destructive behaviors, cope with fear, and find more adaptive coping mechanisms to stop the abuse.

  • Frequent stomach aches or headaches
